Pastor Johnny Bean

Pastor Johnny Bean accepted his calling into the pastoral ministry in March, 1988 and the doors of the Lord’s Tabernacle Holiness Church, Forrest City, AR were open.  He came to Christ under the leadership of Bishop Philemon Turner, Sr and served faithfully.   While under his leadership and in obedience to his vision, he continued to develop in the study of the Word.  He is a 2004 graduate of the LTHC Bible Institute.

Pastor Bean has a love for lost souls.  His desire is as Christ that all men might be saved. For Christianity is summed up in these words: “Jesus came to seek and save the lost.” As a disciple desiring to imitate his Master; his love and his concern is for each and every lost soul to find the only one that saves, Jesus.  His favorite scripture is, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God called him into full time ministry in 2013. Pastor Bean retired after 18 years as a Mechanic from the Memphis Fire Department, and has served in full time ministry since January, 2014.  He found his virtuous woman in Evangelist Alicia Carter and they married on March 5, 2011; together they have three children and seven grandchildren.

In 2016, God dealt with Pastor Bean about coming out of the Lord’s Tabernacle Holiness Fellowship to be separated and focus on the ministry He has for him in Arkansas. The church name was change from Lord’s Tabernacle Holiness Church to Old Pathway Family Worship Center. Pastor Bean began to walk in the new path God had ordained for him. Teaching and preaching the old paths (Jeremiah 6:16).
