HISTORY

The Lord put a desire to build Him a house in the heart of Pastor Bean’s mother, Mother Jennie B. Richardson Bean over twenty-five years ago.

Mother Bean walked around the grounds where the church is presently built. She believed God gave her to do so. Over the years she talked about how she prayed and her desire was to see her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to be saved, filled with the Holy Ghost in this Lord’s Tabernacle. As the first mother of the church, she was a faithful servant until her death in 2006.

In 1986, God begin to speak to the heart of Pastor Bean to build Him a house. While in a trance the Lord showed him the church, a white building in the same location that God gave Mother Bean. Later, the Lord began to deal with Pastor Bean about reading and meditating on scriptures in the Old Testament pertaining to how to build God a house. God spoke to Pastor Bean saying, “It is time to build me a house.”

The church construction started in March of 1987. The doors of the church were open and dedicated under the Lord’s Tabernacle Fellowship March 12, 1988. The church began with five souls in attendance. Since that time the Lord has added to his church.

The vision that God has given Pastor Bean is to teach the word of God in wisdom and understanding, that he will be a godly example through his stand and living a holy life before the people.
